The World Of Terra

The Continents:

There are 4 known Continents in the world of Terra, the Avarra Continent, where most of the main gameplay plot is centered around. Therenhal Continent containing the homeland of the Seekers Faction, Lazzaria continent, the continent of exiles and castaways, and slaves, and the Ereglad Continent, where the mysterious                                                                              and enchanting Elven species dwell.

Avarra is one of the 3 known continents in the world and the largest of all the continents, the others are Therenhal, and Lazarria. Avarra contains the six kingdoms known as Tarron Kingdom, Verdanian Kingdom, The Circle Of Magi, The Orabellan Tribe, and WhiteStone Kingdom, which are all accessible to your character in gameplay. The Avarra Continent is the continent in the west and is politically charged, war torn, and chaotic with Kings and their armies fighting one another for complete ruleship, and in quest for the one true throne on the Isles Of The Blessed. The next closest Nation is the Orain Kingdom, and The Coven located on the Therenhal continent in east. South of the Avarra continent is Lazzaria, where exiles are sent from all the kingdoms where they'll either die or survive in the Red Desert. The Avarra continent has 3 moons, varied geographical layouts and all of the four seasons in the world with varied climates in different capitals.

Therenhal is the second largest continent,  lying to the east of the world and is a breath of fresh air in as it is the only continent that has the least amount of problems, many flock to be protected by the Coven, traveling weeks some even months to get there as this continent does not discriminate against Magic. The Therenhal Continent harbors the Orain Kingdom, and the home of the Seekers faction, The Coven. The Orain Kingdom is not a playable area to members at its current chapter but may be briefly mentioned in stories, etc. The Coven often sends its Seekers and forces to lend aid to it's allied nations in the Avarra continent keeping a keen eye on the King in White Stone and his unpredictability and to fight Adameic forces from the Verdanian Kingdom. During the Blood Age when Adam tried to seige every continent under his ruleship, the Coven was the only kingdom that effortlessly prevailed against Adam's forces while other nations experienced great loss and almost loss to their thrones. West of Therenhal lies Avarra and the six other kingdoms, south east lies the Barbaros Islands of the free men and to the south west of Therenhal lies the continent of Lazzaria. Beyond Therenhal and The Coven to the east is a world encased in snow and ice that never melts known as the Land Of Ice a place that is not advised to travel to.  The Therenhal continent only has 1 moon, experiences only summer and spring seasons due to its mainly tropical climate and has varied geographic terrain.

The Lazzaria Continent is the third and second smallest continent in the world. Not much is known about this continent other than it's the dumping grounds for equines that are exiled from their homelands. Lazzaria is a dry desert wasteland and has no grounded kingdom established. When exiled equines arrive it is believed they are either killed by existing equines on the continent already fighting for survival, and if they are not killed they are either loners, or have banned together with other groups of equines. North of Lazzaria is the Avarra continent, to the south the Isles Of The Blessed are rumored to be located though many islands have been left undiscovered or unexplored. Northeast of Lazzaria the continent of Therenhal holds The Coven. Directly southeast of this barren continent lies the Land Of Ice and the Barbaros Islands of the free men. Lazzaria only has 1 moon, experiences harsh summer heat during the day, freezing temperatures at night, and flooding rain when storms hit the continent. Most of Lazzaria is covered in sand and desert.

The Ereglad Continent is the last and the smallest continent in the world. Much like the Lazzaria Continent, about as much as we know about the Elven is about about as much as we know about Ereglad. Technically, Ereglad is not a continent, so you may hear it reffered to as a continent or the mysterious part of Avarra from time to time, this is because Ereglad is connected to Avarra by a giant, grassy, naturally made bridge spoken of as The Great BridgeWe do know, that this piece of land mysteriously is flourishing and bountiful, filled with life, which is odd as Viredda is its neighbor.

Colthyr is one of ___ regions located on the Avarra continent in the east. The colthyr region harbors many harsh mountain ranges, thick forest, sloped, hilly terrain met with boulder and stone, strange bioluminescent life at night, and the famous white Orabellan sea. This region is known for its extreme wet autumn months and the terrible storms that come with the season, and is highly underestimated during the winter months and many will get themselves killed if they are not careful to appropriately dress like the land's inhabitants. The commoners of this part of the world, heavily Spiritualists, are not surprised when someone who underestimated the cold had froze to death and found frozen. Colthyr lands are ruled by the Orabellan Tribe in the capital of Cyr, famously marked by the Giving Tree they protect. No single equine rules this land as the Spiritualists Faction are guided by the Spirits of The Veil, and Elders in the clan. Because the Tribe is nomadic, there are no established cities in Colthyr as the Tribe lives off of the land and where they sleep for the night is their home since their homes can pack up with them and the concept of Perri is foreign to those native to the land who do not live elsewhere.

Dragonthorn is one of ____ regions located on the Avarra continent in the north. Dragonthorn is the second largest region on the continent the first being Viredda, home to the population of the Adameic. If another nation were to wage war against the King of WhiteStone who controls the Dragonthorn region, that region may be very well  swiftly taken over by his forces. Dragonthorn is snuggled next to Colthyr in the west, where the Tribe rules, and south is Viredda. This region's land is vast in rivers and deep lakes, thick forest , enchanted forests holding wonders in the world and undiscovered treasures, but a lot of bad exists in Dragonthorn, bandits, Adameic Knights, troubling Mages, pesky predators and we're sure there's more lurking we don't know about that roam the misty mountain trails, slip through the waters of the enchanted forest, and come from the swamplands looking to cause trouble for WhiteStone's Knights from the WhiteStone Kingdom and all the surrounding regions. The King of WhiteStone and his family rules the Dragonthorn lands from the capital of White Stone. The cities in the Dragonthorn region are Veska, Carthago, Undavark and small villages lie outside the capital walls.

Erie, the infamous land of the Mages, the Black Bog and home to the Circle Of Magi. Erie is one of ____ regions located on the Avarra continent located in the southwest from Dragonthorn and south from Colthyr. This is the smallest region on the entire continent due to the fact that WhiteStone tries to rule as much of the region as they can, leaving only the Circle and the forest safe for Mages, the Erie Islands are heavily patrolled by WhiteStone's Knights even though they have no business being in a land that is not their own, but the King outlaws Magic and would abolish it from the entire continent. The  only thing that keeps the Mages safe is the safety of the Circle thanks to the cursed forest that harbors it, only a Mage can get through the forest and walk back out alive, others are not so lucky thanks to Heka. The Circle Of Magi itself is not an island despite the region's name, but has surrounding islands around it. This region is the closest to Viredda, as Viredda lies just south only being separated by the swamplands and the dangerous Dragonborn mountains. The only known capital marker inErie is Carlisle, where an abandoned castle with no ruling family stands where Heka once resided in stands and a few equines who brave leaving the Circle reside in what's still standing of surrounding villages. The only form of government in this region revolves around equines holding the rank of Masters governing the lives of Mages who still live in the Circle. This region is a frequent battleground between Adameic forces, Mages, and WhiteStone Knights because of where it's located, and the Black Bog and what lurks in its waters is famously known for claiming the lives of overly curious children every year. The islands is home to the Red Moon that has plagued this region since the Great Purge and is an unsettling place to be to non natives of the region due to more days being misty then clear, odd moon, thick swampland and tales of blood thirsty Mages and the curse on the forest.

Viredda is one of ___ regions in the Avarra continent, and might often be referred to as the wastelands of Avarra because what once was fertile lush lands has turned into dry, bare, dying land since Adam's reign over the region in the agreement with Mia Ti. Because Adam has no regard for life Viredda has suffered extreme plantation loss, drought, and scarce water sources, nearly all of the lakes and rivers that once were are dried or are drying up. The land isn't completely dead, but has drastically changed into dusty dry canyons and desert climates. The capital in Viredda is the Verdanian Kingdom a golden castle referred to as the Gold Keep a castle built on the backs of slaves ruled by Adam and his Kingsguard. The only city in the kingdom is Karth consisting of all the equines from all existing factions who pledge their loyalty to him so Adam can keep a keen eye on everyone. Families, or individuals, who are in good favor from him live a grandiose life full of riches and all that they desire, slaves however.. They're lucky if they live to the next day.

Therenhal Regions / Capitals / Cities:

Slavers Cove

Therenhal is home to the mighty Seekers Faction in the Coven and while Therenhal might seem like it's a basket of peaches compared to the Avarra Continent the only sore eye that exists on this continent is the infamous and feared Slavers Cove, the cove is one of _____ regions in Therenhal where a mass market of slaves are sold, traded, and bought day in and day out. In Therenhal the cove is considered its own city as it does have its own population and many equines who live there to do one thing- sell their captive slaves. The cove does not have a capital. The continent does not discriminate against Magic and its users, but does not have a ban on slavery, thus the slave market thrives. Slavers Cove can be found on the entire western coast of Therenhal, many entering ships from Avarra often don't dock without it being at the cove to replenish supplies, or buy.

The most famous region in all of Therenhal, the Coven. The mighty kingdom Polos the God himself built from the ground up homing his famous Seekers, a place that still stands and is still protected by the Seekers today. The Coven is located on the other side of the continent from where Slavers Cove is. To get to the Coven you have to navigate through the mysterious and misty wonders that is the Estapor Mountains. Far in the East-northeast of Therenhal the Coven is tucked away. The kingdom is the capital of the coven, the cities within the Coven are Falcroft, Haven, and Nazareth.

The most pleasing thing about Therenhal is that unlike Avarra, winter and fall is never experienced ! Many equines who prefer the tropic temperatures and never having to worry about the cold praise that they can stroll on the warm sandy beaches. The most popular being the Emerald Islands, and it's exactly what it sounds like, emeralds! Large deposits of emerald can be found on this beach and it can either be a beautiful site to see if you've never seen it before, or can be pestering because step on a sand covered deposit and you might have a sore hoof for awhile! This beach can be found East of the Coven where the turquoise waters of the Nehalennia Sea gently blow against the sands of the beach. Those native to the islands who do not live in the Coven are referred to as Islanders. Many equines from all over the world come to the Emerald Islands for a tropical getaway, it truly is a little slice of paradise.

The Estapor Mountains is where many believe Polos, Therenhal's beloved God remains hidden somewhere deep in the mountains unbeknownst to anyone and where many trek in hopes of discovering him. There is a dragon that roams these mountains many claim that belongs to Polos, but no one's ever gotten a clear look at the beast to confirm any truth to that. These mountains, being mountains, you'd think would be quite chilly. But these mountains year round are tropical! full of misty hot mornings, rich dark soil, and plentiful tropical trees. The Estapor Mountains is also home to many mountain villages! Like the equines who live on the emerald islands are referred to as islanders, mountain dwellers, you might hear being referred to as highlanders. The mountain ranges spread all through the North and East part of Therenhal. The only known marker in the mountains is Skytop village.
