The Coven's History
The Coven was established by the God Polos not long before the war between the Gods and Goddesses broke out in the Divine Age. Polos saw the corruption spreading in Ares but neglected to bring it to attention before it was too late and a war was on the rise, but by then Polos had already been unwelcomed from the land Ares now ruled, Mage Hunts were at its peak, and he and Camilla had began to establish the Coven by sailing in ships far from the Avarra Continent they sailed for Therenhal which was then unexplored lands. With the help of his Seekers they built an extravagant kingdom out of nothing. The Coven stood as a beacon of hope for those who wanted to flee from Ares insanity, as well as Mages, if they could get to a ship and cross the waters before they were hunted down. That very same essence still rings when the Coven is talked about, it is a place to start a new, safe from equines with dark pasts, even those who have done wrong as long as they abandoned who they were before and never repeat themselves. Polos had that faith about everyone, that they didn't have to choose the wrong course in their lives and could change if they wanted it badly enough.

Because Polos knew that Ares couldn't afford to spread his troops thin, the Coven stayed out of the gods war and those who were residents, stayed safe. It was considered impressive because of the mass massacres that occurred. If there were any survivors in Avarra, no matter the side, they were welcomed with pardons and open arms. It was a dark and quiet time as survivors processed their losses and mourned.

When Mia Ti emerged in the world she wasn't a threat to the kingdom, instead an alliance was made and Polos believed in her want to bring the world together again after such a catastrophe, she had the full support of the coven behind her. For the first time in a long time, there was a hope in the eyes of equines who were devastated from the war again. Though as time went on, a new enemy emerged their face, Adam. He wanted the whole world for himself, Polos could not sit by and do nothing while he knew war was about to be on the Coven's doorsteps. In such little time a wall had been constructed surrounding the kingdom. Polos explained those who stayed inside the wall, would live, but if you left the safety of the kingdom, you were on your own. Not long after that Polos disappeared and has never been seen again, no one knows if he's alive or if he's dead, or why he disappeared.. Was he a coward? Did he make a pact? Not even Camilla knows.. It is believed that a Magic protects the kingdom, that Polos is still protecting the kingdom in ways, no one knows how or why it is that the coven has never been seized by another kingdom wishing to rule it, and has never faced an assault like other kingdoms have. The coven and the Seekers are truly one big mystery.

Kingdom Mentality
Nation Relationships
WhiteStone Kingdom: Keep Your Friends Close, But Your Enemies Closer- The Coven and the WhiteStone Kingdom, have always had a quarrel, whether it was between Ares and Polos during the Divine Age, or now as the coven's Seekers and their Knights often argue about who's superior in the world these two kingdoms have never been exactly friends, but know allying up is the smartest idea incase they need numbers in battles, or so an enemy nation can't get two of the largest kingdoms in the world to join against them.

Tarron Kingdom & Clans: Uncertainty- Because of Wynn and Esta, mainly the queen's stubborness, it's impossible to get an alliance with Tarron, because of the Magic that surrounds Ereglad, it's difficult to know hardly anything about the Elven at all unless a member talks. It has always been a hope that one day Tarron will ally with the Coven, but it is highly unlikely the King and Queen will ever budge.
Orabellan Tribe: Useful Connections-
Thieves Guild: Useful Allies- The perfect little spies! Since the Thieves guild is successfully hidden in WhiteStone, they're the perfect candidates to be feeding the coven WhiteStones information, in exchange the coven keeps the guilds location undisclosed to WhiteStone. The coven can afford the guild to be stealing from them every once in awhile as their information is more valuable than a few pieces of stolen perri and food.
Circle Of Magi: Olive Branch- Ever since the Coven was established, it has always been a known safe haven for Mages, all they had to do was be able to get to Therenhal. Once in the walls of the coven any equine with Magic cannot be harmed. Seekers, while it does breach the relationship with WhiteStone, leave coded messages to secret locations with stashes of food and supplies when they can to help as much as they can since WhiteStone tries to starve the Circle out.
Viredda Kingdom: Sworn Enemies- As long as Adam is alive, the Coven will never ally with Viredda, he has taken some of the most valiant Seekers the coven had at one time and has completely corrupted them, turning them against their own in Adam's quest for a world where he rules all. While the Coven does accept equines who are of Adameic blood who wish to flee Adam's insanity, the kingdom and the members of it that remain loyal to him are enemies of the coven.
Sancia
The Sancia University (San-see-uh) and library is the prized jewel of the Coven! Sancia is what every kingdom marvels at and even send their children from all over the world, or travel themselves to have an education. Her architecture is impressive, the size alone is marvelous! Outside a grand staircase awaits you but attached to either sides are the living accommodations to student and staff, as you walk up the stairs you're then greeted by a koi pond stretching to the doors of the university, it's a popular hang out spot among many! On either side are staircases leading to different wings, the right wing a place of worship where students may find themselves in prayer during breaks, the left wing meals are had three times a day. One in the morning before classes, in the afternoon, and a dinner service is offered for those who live at the university for educational or staff purposes. In either wing, a staircase leads to the upper level of the university where classes are held teaching many subjects. Sancia offers literature, philosophy, astronomy, writing, psychology, biology, chemistry, fine arts, business, law, physics, architecture, politics, and music! In the middle of the university a glass archway provides a refreshing stroll between changing classes, and then another grand staircase climb and you're standing in the largest library in the world known to Terra! It's circular structure surrounds you with shelves and shelves and shelves of age old books and above a rounded glass roof to provide skylight, and for those reading at night a beautiful gaze at the stars. White marble and diamond shaped emerald flooring is laid throughout the school, complemented by white quartz structures and beautiful craftsmanship of statues.
