Codex Of All Things Elven
The Elven Pantheon:
The Elven are a highly religious species and call the collectiveness of their Gods and Goddesses a Pantheon. The Elven's Pantheon is made up of 12 Elven Gods and Goddesses. Airmid, Balor, Carman, Danu, Dermot, Donn, Ecne, Flidais, Medb, Nehalennia, Scota, and Aine. They believe that the Gods and Goddesses they believe in are responsible for the gifts that are spread throughout Ereglad and the clan lands. The Gods and Goddess Pantheon dedicated to these individuals can be found in Scota's Sanctuary on an island in Ereglad. The physical location of where these Gods and Goddesses roam is uncertain, as in this world the Elven have been plagued to, their pantheons have not interacted directly with them since their existence in Terra. It is believed that Terra's Gods and Goddesses known as the Old Gods wage war with the Elven Gods not allowing them to come to this earth ,as it is not their's, and so they are stuck in " an in between". This is just a theory for the Eleven.

Airmid; Goddess of Healing And Medicine
Airmid is the Elven pantheon Goddess of healing and medicine. She is a master herbalist and a master in Magic of nature, she is responsible for keeping plague at bay and the flourishing forests with bountiful herbs, plants, trees, and flowers. Many Elven Mages with nature Magic often feel closest to her in their lives. It is rumored that if she can be found by an individual seeking to bring back someone from the deceased, she can bring them back from the dead. There are many signs of her presence for those who are paying attention in the world around them such as:

The Snake
The scents of lemon and verbena
Water
Bountiful herbs and earthly elements
Silver naturally found
Summer and Fall season
Excessive colors of blue, brown, purple and green
Naturally found stones such as Opal, Amber, Coral, Lapis Lazuli, Jasper, and Zircon

During morning hours is the best time to pray to this Goddess to receive her messages and gifts. It is believed that during the day she goes around healing, and at night she cleanses the earth ridding the Elven of diseases that threaten them.
Balor; The God Of Death
This God is not to be confused with Donn, the God of the Underworld. Balor, is the God of Death, the Elven's version of a Death Reaper. When the lifespan of an Elven is coming to an end, Balor comes to touch them to take them to journey to the other side. He is the most feared God for his hideous look, but those who have been to the other side and have come back report that although he is hideous, he gave them a feeling of calm and peace before their passing from the physical world. He is not often worshipped, he is neither good nor bad , bust is a God that is best to be avoided because he has the power to take lives before they are due. It is told in myth, that those who steal the eye of Balor have the power of death in their hands.
Carman; The Witch Goddess of Black Magic
Carman, is an unusual Elven Goddess, some may worship her, agreeing with her ways, as others find her extreme as she is not particularly good for her witching ways and the use of Black Magic to do unspeakable things to those who are inflicted with her wrath, and the aftermath that follows. In this day and age, Elven know that they are hunted by the Adameic, and by others who don't like their kind, or their beliefs and ways, and so they bargain with this Goddess looking to Black Magic to be able to protect themselves, because they doubt the strength and skills of the Warriors and Mages who serve Wyn and Esta to protect the lands, and decide to take matters into their own hands. This Goddess must be seeked out for her services and it is suggested that the Raven is her sign and path to finding her.

Carman will not be found if she does not want to be as she won't do things for just anyone. Those who seek her out will be hand picked by her, not just anyone will encounter this Goddess. She is praised because some believe that they are actually being protected by her, that her methods are the answers Wyn and Esta don't see, while others view Carman as a cruel and vile Goddess, that her ways are barbaric and torture as nothing good comes from Black Magic and only makes matters worse. While "Taking care of the trash" Is what many use her for, she can "Gift" other things as well, your desires, your wishes.

When she is found by following the Raven she demands a blood sacrifice before she will do any bidding by her seekers. Blood is her sustenance, her food, if you will. Once she has been satisfied she will do your bidding, your wishes and desires are her command, she can bring you love, fame, fortune, take care of a pesk, but there is a catch many ignore, in 10 years time, your soul will belong to her, and will be feasted upon by the three children she lost who turned into beasts and roam the in between where they cannot escape.

Signs you are nearing this Goddesses lair is an abundance of ravens and ravenous wolves, large deposits of malachite and amethyst protruding from the ground have also been noted.
Danu; The Goddess Of All
Danu is perhaps the most popular, and favorite Goddess there is in the Elven Pantheon. She is also the oldest known in existence, maybe even the first Goddess of them all. Danu over time has been nicknamed the Goddess of All, this is because her presence is believed to exist in every living being, even within the Elven themselves. She is the Goddess of Fertility, of Life, Abundance, Guidance, and the Elven believe she can create, and maybe created the world they came from for them.

Those by the seas and water note that, that is where her presence is the strongest in the physical world and will often seek out sources of water to pray to Danu so their prayers have the best chances of being received and answered by the Goddess. She is very mothering to those who have their faith in her, she will give guidance to her "children" giving them love and support in their actions, and shows them the right path, even though she knows that they're not likely to always follow it, understanding that they are mortal, and will make mistakes. Those who are suffering greatly and in great desperation are believed to have the best chances of physically making contact with this Goddess as she will come to comfort them when they are in their greatest needs, or so it's been reported by witnesses in history.

Mothers often find themselves praising this Goddess, as they believe that Danu is the Goddess of Fertility, and is who decides who has children and who doesn't in the world, many pray to her for healthy lives for their babies, or may pray to her for children they don't yet have. In history, it is said that Danu has made even the most infertile mare with child, so it is believed that she can grant fertility to any mares of her choosing. Danu is also believed to give life to all of the earth, supplying the water, the lakes, the streams the oceans and seas, giving life to the grass, the forest, fruits and all, Life.

While the water is undoubtedly where her presence is strongest, there are many signs of this Goddess in the world such as:

The Snake
Many types of fish
Many types of bird
The Chital
The Unicorn
The Kelpie
Excessive colors of Blue, White, Green, and Silver
Naturally found stones such as Amber, Gold, and river stones '
The scents of the ocean and sea and burning amber

Dermot; God of Love
Dermot is the God of Love, and also the God that Elven mares who are about to be married, or about to conceive a child, encounter. He is known for making mares fall in love with them because he tests their loyalty and love to the stallion their betrothed to or already married to during their trip to Hanalei Lake, once where they will visit before they're to be married as it is an enlightening journey, and the second visit when they're going to conceive a child. It is also believed that long before a couple has even happened, Dermot has selected them to be together. The rose in the middle of Dermot's forehead is what is said to give him his powers of incredible persuasion to make a mare fall head over heels for him, if she does, she is unworthy to be married and it is a sign that the marriage should not be. The couple is tested because there is no mistake when two have been put together, no matter how odd it is and different they may be, the Elven are bonded for life, there is no such thing heard of as cheating or divorce in their books, this test truly stands by that belief. Dermot will also be encountered again when the couple is planning on conceiving a child! As Hanalei Lake is the only appropriate place a stallion may bed a mare. This trip will test the strengths of the couple. A mysterious mist will separate the couple when they are nearing the lake and that is where the mare will once again encounter Dermot, where he will try his hardest to sway her to lay with him instead. If she does fall for this, she is considered wicked, unfaithful, and unworthy of children, and it is rumored that as punishment Dermot will take away her gift of fertility, making her infertile as she should not be a parent, and her mate and her will be unhappy with each other til death do they part.
Donn; God of The Underworld
Donn, is the God of the Underworld, and the God Balor works hand in hand with him.
